Weekend, as expected, was great. It was good to see Ady and Rach, the next time I see them will be at Jabba and Janes wedding which isnt far off at all. I cant believe what he's doing for his stag do. Paintball in the morning, followed by going to a dog race in the afternoon, exclusive VIP entry to a top club in Leeds followed by Go Karting the next morning. Totalling to a hefty £173 each. He's so materialistic, nothing but the biggest, the best and the most expensive will do. No thought for the people that might not to be able to afford it, or the fact that they'll all be Go Karting whilst still drunk from the night before. Silly boy.
Anyway... weekend. Had a terrible journey down there on Friday, stuck on the M1 for over an hour due to roadworks.
Saturday, we woke up late, had toast and caught the tube into London. Visited Covent Garden and found and had our lunch at Leicester Square (managed not to get pigeon - pooed on) In the afternoon the weather was glorious, so we sauntered over to Hyde Park for a spot of doing nothing. It just so happened that Bon Jovi were appearing there that evening, I think all of us that went on thursday contemplated seeing them for a second time at some point that afternoon. The park was full of Bon Jovi fans, so we felt quite at home, allbeit slightly jealous. Several roller-bladers zoomed past us whilst walking along the lakeside. We managed to be prime witnesses of a nasty collision between one, unassuming, walkman wearing, skating girl in her own little world, and one arrogant, backwards skating, show off. He was going so fast she didnt know what hit her. s m a c k... straight into her, to the sound of all eight of us shouting "WOA!" She looked very dazed as he helped her up and sent her on her way, poor girl.
We ended up not going to Soho, Ady took us to Islington. It was a good night out, apart from not arriving there until 9 o' clock. (It takes quite a while for 8 people to get ready in a shoebox with one bathroom!) The last tube back to Harrow was at midnight, so we werent out for that long really, I think next time we'll have to start earlier!
On Sunday we slept until 12ish and preceded to do nothing all day, just chilled out watching big brother and eating bacon sandwiches together! Went for a lovely meal on the way home near where I went to uni. Had an early night.

Well... I'm heading down to Harrow this weekend to see a couple of mates. Theres six people going in total and their flat is incredibly small. Last time we went there were four of us, me and three lads, I slept on the sofa with them on the floor and I thought that was cramped! This time there'll be me, four lads and a lassie. I suppose we'll have to 'get cosy' ;)
I think we'll be headed to the legendary Harrods on Saturday (for a browse only) and then possibly Covent Garden ("). Then in the evening we'll be hitting Soho (come on!). A top weekend guaranteed.
Sunday, we'll probably go to their church again which happens to remind me of the church I went to at uni to the last detail! (which freaked me out last time) Maybe we'll meet that cool American geezer, Buddy, again.
*Oh yeah and if you're reading this, I miss you Dickie! :(

Bon Jovi, as usual, and as expected, rocked. Superb setup, impressive stage graphics. Awesome.
The drunken United fans stood right behind me, did not rock.
They insisted on singing, or attempting to sing, all the songs at the tops of their voices right down my ear. As the evening went on and they got more and more plastered, the singing still persisted, which is annoying enough in itself, but one guy was beginning to touch me up in places I dont wish to describe. Not impressed, he came so close to being decked. It wouldn't have taken much, giving his condition. I reck I could have took 'em all on. (RAA)
So.. instead of decking him, I chose the option of moving to the front of the group I was with. Question - why is it, whenever I go to any concert ever, all the tallest people decide to stand directly infront of little me? :( In my ideal world all the taller people would stand at the back, and they would descend to smaller people at the front, that way, hey presto, everyone would be able to see! :)
The annoying pervert guy then preceded to do the same to Lauren. I saw this, and was even more filled with wrath than previously (do not touch my Lauren!) so I rescued her, and again resisted decking him (although I was VERY tempted by this point)
After the concert, it took us two hours to get out of Manchester alone, nevermind home! lol
'Twas good.

Cheese and Peanut Butter sandwiches simply have to be among the greatest things I ever though of.
mm,
mm,
mm...
Today I shall be enjoying them not only once, but twice! Thats right kids, twice. Lunch and dinner. I'm going straight to the concert from work you see. Dads giving me a lift and I'm gonna meet up with Damian, Martin and Lauren at the turnstyle. I'm a little nervous as I'll be alone for like, two minutes in a crowd of a few hundred people outside Old Trafford. Its something thats always bothered me, theres something very insecure and uncomfortable about being alone in a huge crowd, panic sets in. (Maybe it comes from getting lost in Asda as a child) Thank goodness for mobile phones! Phil and Ryan will meet us inside.
The weather's lookin' good and its gonna be hhhot!
I've never been inside Old Trafford before (Manchester Uniteds home) not that ever particularly wanted to go in (spit spit spit). My idiotic brother is a supporter, which just makes me hate Utd even more, when I found out Beckham is leaving, I laughed...... hard.

My lunchtime entertainment has been polluted. The only element of my working day which I thouroughly enjoyed has been turned into a pointless slanging match. It doesnt matter which thread I view, that feeling is still there, un-ease, and the knowledge that some my favourite people to talk to are gone, indefinitely. I only hope it restores itself to its former glory, a place of humour, encouragement, the occasional flirting, but best of all, a non-threatening environment.
Why do I feel as though I have to talk about things that matter here, not trivial things, sod that, this is my space, isnt it?
My eyes feel dry this morning, like when you need to blink, except blinking doesn't help. I never feel I get enough sleep, even when I get plenty. I'm always in a sort of daze until about 11 when I have my second coffee of the day, then I reach my 'peak' between 7 and 11 at night.
I spend my life looking forward to weekends, Phil always says I'm wishing my life away. Its easily done when broken down into managable chunks.....
Chunk one: Make it to first brew at 9ish.
Chunk two: Make it to second brew at 11ish
Chunk three: Lunchtime
Chunk four: Afternoon brew, 2ish
Chunk five: Hometime, 5 on the dot.
Monday, week 20% over - sigh
Tuesday, 40% - hmph
Wednesday, 60% - over half way woohoo!
Thursday, 80% - bring it on
Friday, need I say more?
Life is odd.

Tensions are high on the board, I've never seen it like that before, and I dont like it.
On Saturday I had a strange feeling of contentness, utter love and realisation of what life was all about. Weird how things can change in such a short space of time, triggered by a few small things. I now realise that that 'feeling' I had was and is completely false, not to mention unhealthy.
It feels somewhat wrong talking about my friends in this way on the internet, even though I know they will never read this, and no-one who does will ever meet me or them. At the same time it feels good to let off steam. I've never really kept a diary or anything similar, so this will take some getting used to.

I'm concerned about a couple of my friends at the minute, Hannah last night confessed to me shes been diagnosed with arthiritis in her back, I wont see her for a couple of weeks now either. She said she feels distant from us and theres not a thing I can do about it while I'm this busy. I'm worried about Lauren and Ryan. Laurens been flirting a lot lately with Martin, who should know better and apparently with this other guy from college. He keeps texting her. It grieves me. I care about them all too much.
Two days till Bon Jovi. Three days till Harrow.

I wonder how to get the comments thing up and running, I seem to remember a few peeps off the board struggled with that. If they struggled then theres not much hope for little me.
This weekend was spent undertaking a variety of activities, including getting stupidly drunk on Friday, making a scotland photo-collage, having a barbecue in the rain, setting off a monster firework. Sunday events were playing drums at church, watching some of my male friends try and play football on a hill with a penny flyaway, walking the youth group round a lake in the rain and trying to stop them fighting with the obnoxious chippy staff, and finishing off with a nice couple of pints afterwards.

After Friday night, I've come to the conclusion that I drink too much...seriously. Hangovers are not fun, and I have them way too often.
