I arrived home from work yesterday to discover that my mother had done most of the ironing for me - bless her. She did all the tshirts etc on the table on a towel while sitting down and just left me mine and Dad's shirts which needed doing on the ironing board. So I got that out of the way and had a quick lie down before Phil came round. It was good to talk properly about what happened on Sunday and he could see I was quite upset about the whole thing, and fully understood why. I don't deserve him.

Hmm... not the best of weekends. We met up with Dave and Gail at the pub on friday, hadn't seen them in a couple of weeks, so that was nice. On saturday I went into town briefly to get the first series of Starsky & Hutch on dvd for Phil. And I met up with a tired Lauren in the middle of her 13 hour shift at Subway. That night we went to the pub again - boooring.
I drummed on sunday morning, then that afternoon we went to see Harry Potter 3, which I was very impressed with. I believe it to be be the best of the three films :)
That night we went out again and Mags asked if we'd 'look after her friend.' Well, for a start he was drunk. He seemed to be after an argument with us the whole night after telling us he was gay, and knowing we're all Christians. The less I say about this the better probably. He tried it on with Graham, quite obviously. And practically gave away to the whole group that Graham was gay. I got increasingly more and more anoid with the guy throughout the evening and ended up having to leave before I did/said something stupid. Then afterwards I find out Lauren walked home alone thinking I was angry at her for talking to him for most of the evening. How can one guy cause so much trouble?
I only got two hours sleep last night.

Check out my new link, Neville's Garden - rummage around, the guy is hilarious! I found him through http://www.nevillesgarden.co.uk/flash/tiem.html
Gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted.
Phil and I made friends again last night (we had a little spat) I used my ways of persuasion ;) So we did intend to watch the England - Portugal match at the pub. We got drenched going down there, only to discover that it was cram packed. None of us shorties could see a screen and so we decided to watch it at my house. Got drenched coming home again.
I can't bring myself to talk about the game... :'(

I just arrived at work, took my jacket off, sat at my desk, switched my computer on, and looked down to discover to my horror that one of my shirt buttons was undone, the one right over my boobs. I hope nobody noticed!
Yeah, so I'm not going to Portugal. Lauren failed to tell me that their villa is an hours drive from the airport. I'd have to leave early, therefore get a taxi back there on my own. That'd cost more than the flight! Sod that.
Anyway, I'm extremely happy this morning after England thrashed Croatia 4-2 last night. Good game, good game.

Okay, I'm back, sorry about that all. I did some nasty stuff which I'd probably better keep to myself, I'm still not over it but trying to shove it to the back of my mind.
Had a REALLY good night on friday, I went to the Red Hot Chili Peppers gig at Man City Stadium. It was fantastic, we got to our seats at about 5.30pm and immediately started drinking (you can tell how this will end can't you?) The first band came on not long afterwards 'Chicks On Speed' they're the strangest thing I've ever seen and were constantly booed throughout, not nice. Then the Godfather of Soul, Mr James Brown came on and the place rocked! I couldn't see anyone not dancing. Luckily Martin and I still had some aisle space in which to boogie. We were pretty high up, and it was pretty steep, but after a few beers the fear had gone! Then the Chilis came on and were amazing, obviously.
I woke up the next morning unable to remember coming out of the stadium or coming home, oops. I sent Ryan a message to check I hadn't done anything bad. I hadn't, fortunately. I spent the rest of the morning feeling sorry for myself with a monster hangover. At around 2 I gathered up enough energy to drive myself into town. It was a successful trip, I replenished my underwear, which is always good. And found a much needed cool CD rack, oh yeah, and a James Brown CD ;)
On sunday I borrowed Pulp Fiction off Martin and pondered whether or not I should go to Portugal with Lauren.
On thursday night I found out that on the weekend of 16th July I would end up all alone (the lads are all in Barcelona for a stag do, Becky is in Belgium, Rachel is having a second hen do in London with her teacher friends, and Lauren is in Portugal) well, after I explained this to her she invited me to come along.
Reasons not to go:
*I don't know any of her friends who shes going with
*they're all her age, 18
*obvious danger of beer related lustful happenings
*I'd have to fly back alone for my best friends hen party
*I said I'd give Dave & Gail a lift to the airport on the Sunday afternoon
*not many days off left
Reasons to go:
*All the other girls who are going are going with their boyfriends, so I think she may end up excluded
*I really need a holiday
*I already said I would go
*everyone else is going away
HELP!

Not a bad journey over to Sheffield on friday. Its a bad road, the Snake Pass and notorious accident hotspot - its a twisty turny road, and very difficult to overtake anything safely. I got stuck behind a truck for a while but he kindly pulled over to let some of the built up traffic past. I felt right at home at the university halls, brought back a few memories too. We got ready to go out and caught a taxi into the centre, had a few beers and Becky and I had a *lovely* White Russian, so lovely we drank them way too fast. We hit a few more bars and later on went in Gatecrasher. It was smaller than I expected but still good, the evening took a turn for the worse when Rachel became obviously tired and Becky got ill - she'd not fully recovered from the bender she went on the night previous. We ran out of the club so she could be sick, right infront of two coppers! So the night finished early, which was a shame, but we still had fun.
I slept surprisingly well on the floor with other students arriving back at a normal time and making a racket, and we mananged to lie in until about 11. Becky packed and stuff and we went out for a nice lunch, I had a Chicken Fajita Wrap and loved it. The journey back wasn't so good, we got stuck behind a car that would not go above 30mph the whole way, there must have been 50+ cars behind it!
Just went to the pub as per usual that evening - then I did a very stupid thing, which I don't want to talk about here. Lets just say I'm a weak and pathetic piece of shit and leave it at that.
Last night we headed over to Chester to watch Damian and his fellow students perform at a church. He was amazing. He did a couple of his own songs on his own and I was gobsmacked, I'm so proud of him. Does anyone know anything about copyrighting stuff?

Went to kungfu last night, it was a good lesson, got another graze on my other arm though, just as the other was healing up. I look a right ruffian! Everyone went to Martin's house instead of the pub, I met them there. We had a chippy supper and I gave everyone a lift home. I made sure I dropped Lauren off last so I could apologise properly. SO we're good now, and I'm a little happier today.
Tonight myself and Rachel are going over to see Becky in Sheffield for a girls night out. Hopefully ending up in Gatecrasher, then we're coming back saturday. Should be a good night anyway :)

I'm finding stuff hard at the moment, with Lauren I mean. I don't know what my problem is. I just don't know what to say to her, I have to force myself to hold normal conversations. She thinks I'm 'avoiding her.' I don't want to hurt her but I know I am. Its awful.

Gave kungfu a miss last night due to extreme tiredness. I cooked up some pasta and my hands still stink of garlic 1 shower various washings and 16 hours later. I hit the sack for 10, watched Big Brother then went straight to sleep.
This morning I felt strangely awake, so awake that I even had it in me to cut my fringe. Now I'm at work though I'm feeling a bit drousy and the yawning has commenced.
I had a lot of time to think yesterday - some things need to change.

What an eventful few days I've had, I've been wanting to update this all weekend but haven't had a chance..
On friday Phil, Martin & I went down to the pub the others to join us later. Martin left to go clubbing with his work lovelies and Phil and I talked about various things. The discussion turned to Graham - he's been getting rather a lot of attention lately from a girl that works behind the bar, its quite obvious to us that shes very interested in him but of course she doesn't know he's gay. Phil kept saying how he "didn't have a problem with it" and how he wasn't homophobic, and I kept thinking to myself that that was an ideal moment to tell him the truth about me. I went quiet, wondering whether to say anything or not and he eventually asked me what was wrong. And I told him, I told him I am bisexual! I couldn't have asked for a better response, he was so supportive and understanding... I ended up in tears of course. And it wasn't long before Lauren arrived, well, that was awkward! I told her what I'd said when Phil went to the bar and later in the evening I told Graham too. I feel as though a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. And I'm a little proud of myself too ;)
On saturday all the local churches put on a fun day in the park (practically organised by our church) I had to be there for 9am to help erect 6 marquees in the pouring rain! It opened at 12, soon brightened up and turned out to be a really good day, allbeit hectic. That evening we went to the cinema with the intention of seeing Troy, only to discover that they had a powercut! So instead we stayed at Graham's house and watched the all new Big Brother and the last episode of Friends, which I taped.
On sunday we raided Graham's again for Ryan's 21st birthday barbeque, the weather was still lovely and I think everyone had a good time. Finished a bit early though, I was home for 1am. Then I did a daft thing, in my drunken stupidness I decided that I needed to go and see Lauren, she'd been funny with me since the friday and we did need to talk. So I walked there, alone at 1.30am. She rightfully told me off for that but we cleared a few things up. I did go with the intention of staying there the night but at about then I decided it probably wasn't a good idea, so I walked back home again (in daylight!) and got home at about 5. Stupid, stupid me.
Unsuprisingly I was shattered yesterday. Took the marquee down at Graham's which we had borrowed. And then helped Jeff put them all in the cellar at church. That evening we had a chinese takeaway together at Martin's and then watched Pirate's of the Carribean which I wasn't too struck with (but maybe that was because I was so tired!)
So yeah, eventful.
