Had a fabulous trip, I have lots of lovely pics to post for you all too.
I'm stupidly busy at work though, my boss is off this week so I have twice as much to do. I'll tell you all about Cornwall when things calm down a little!

Well.. I'm off down to Cornwall for two weeks tomorrow morning :)
I won't get chance to post while I'm there as I'll be too busy relaxing, surfing, drinking, walking, chilling etc etc..
I'll take plenty of pics and maybe I'll present a slide show upon my return :D
Take care y'all!

The wedding was amazing, and my voice held out - just. It was a beautiful day, there was a spot of rain in the morning and it was cloudy, but that burned off by lunchtime. We were the first to arrive and we had a soundcheck. People began arriving from early on looking very smart. The church seemed to fill up very quickly. The bridesmaids arrived really early and had photos took outside. They both looked beautiful, the dresses were eggplant, a shade of deep purple. And they had their hair tied up and looped under, I don't quite know how it was achieved but it looked gorgeous! I got really quite nervous just before the ceremony. Those moments when the crowd quietens down just before the bride enters. I could see Rachel as soon as she walked in from where I was stood, and I immediately had tears in my eyes, she looked stunning. At every significant moment throughout the whole service I was fighting back the tears! We were set up at the side instead of on the stage, I think maybe Adrian had requested that. I was a little worried however because Adrians parents sat on the front row next to the best man, followed by his two grandmothers! So these two frail old ladies were practically right next to me at my drums, I was afraid I might do them a mischief! The service went well, and it wasn't too hot which was good. I got some great photographs outside and at the reception which was situated overlooking a gorgeous view of the countryside. Blue skies too, I can't wait to see the proper wedding photos.
The meal was nice, they served melon and prawns for starters, followed by vegetable soup. For the main course we had chicken in a white wine sauce with veg. There was a choice of chocolate gateaux or fruit salad for dessert. And of course for the duration of the meal the wine glasses were kept topped up. I think I must have had four glasses in total, plus champagne, plus the pint I took in with me. I'd already had two pints and a free glass of Pimms beforehand so I was feeling quite drunk by the end of the meal. The speeches were good, they all did well. Although I was somewhat embarrassed by a photograph which Rachels father used from playschool which both the bride a groom were on, and of course, so was I. There I am, a chubby little four year old showing her knickers off to the world. It got passed around afterwards, I could not escape the embarrassment! I remember dancing - a lot. Mostly with a cute little girl from church called Bethany, she wouldn't let me sit down! I drank more, danced more.. theres a lot of things I can't remember. I really don't know how much I drank, and neither does Phil so it must have been a lot. We ended up in the residents bar afterwards too and had more there, we got home at about 3.30 I think.
I spent most of yesterday recovering, a few of us didn't make it to church. I however, had to sing, which wasn't easy!
